Our History
Arakawa Europe was founded in 1998. It is a subsidiary of Arakawa Chemical Industries Ltd., Osaka, Japan. Arakawa Europe is responsible for distributing Arakawa group products all over EMEA.
Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd. are the inventors of the technology for hydrogenation of petroleum resins. Arakawa developed the technology in the 1960s and have continuously produced ARKON Resins in Japan since 1970. Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd. was founded in 1876 and is a highly reputable Japanese manufacturer of specialty materials used in a variety of industries such as paper, paint, printing inks, adhesives, textile, food and pharmaceuticals.
